All Robertson State School students are exposed to a diverse range of intentional learning opportunities aligned to our vision of successful achievement and engagement across every key learning area and year level.
Units of work are collaboratively developed, with direction from the Australian Curriculum, Queensland Department of Education as well as the needs and interests of the students and the school community.
Every student is unique, with diverse needs and interests. Teachers use the curriculum to plan in ways that respond to those needs and interests. The Australian Curriculum is flexible, allowing schools and teachers to personalise student learning. At Robertson State School our shared understanding of individualized education involves knowing the learner through the identification of student needs and responding to them in a planned approach, so they are challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their potential.
