Robertson State School has a strong student leadership team. Students in their second last year at primary school are eligible to submit an application for a variety of positions. This takes place in Term 4 each year.
The selection process involves both staff and students. School captains are announced at the last assembly of the year prior to taking up the position i.e. in December of the student's second last year at primary school.
A special assembly is held in mid Term 1 each year to acknowledge the leaders for the year and to present them with their badges of office.
