The school day commences on the first bell. If students arrive after the second bell, they are required to collect a late slip form the school office.

Compulsory Attendance
Robertson State School uses the "ID Attend" attendance system to monitor student attendance. ALL students are expected to be in full attendance all day, every day of the school year except when they are absent for good reason e.g. illness. The school attendance record is probably the most valuable data source available for early detection of students experiencing personal, social and educational difficulties at school. For it to be useful, the data must be accurate and current. In this school, it is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that when their child is absent from school, the absence is explained prior to school commencing.
Absence reasons could be:
* Temporary or permanent illness
* Unavoidable cause (accident etc.)
* Fear of infection with disease

If your child is sick, has an appointment, or is unable to attend school for family reasons please call the school's absentee line Phone: 3452 4166 and leave a message with the details of why your child is absent. If the school is not notified we will call you to check if your child is okay.
Late Arrivals
To minimise the learning time lost and to monitor student whereabouts we have instituted a late slip process. All students not at class by 8.55 am must report to the office to collect a late pass.
Leaving School
During school hours, parents must sign children in and out through the administration building if they leave and then return to the school, or if they are leaving for the remainder of the school day.
