The school is serviced two days a week by a guidance officer.
The guidance officer works with individual students and staff in a variety of roles. The GO runs assessments on individual students and offers counselling.
Access to the guidance officer is through the Student Support Services Committee referral process. Students are prioritised based on their immediate need and the workload of the guidance officer.
If parents would like their child to speak with the guidance officer, they can either discuss the issue with their child's classroom teacher or speak to the school administration.
