Our library is a central learning and resource hub for students, staff and parents at Robertson State School.
The library provides access to a wide variety of children's literature, print materials, teaching materials, maths and science resources, facilitates access to an eBook library, and we are currently developing our new maker space.
Students have a scheduled borrowing time each week, and can also access the library during lunch breaks to borrow.
Book Week, Book Fairs and regular events and competitions are held throughout the year to promote literacy and a love of reading for our school community.
Library Monitors are selected each year, as part of our school leadership program, to develop their skills in student support and to assist with events and library tasks.
Workshops for parents are run throughout the year to engage our families with student learning and support our curriculum goals.
